Obrazovanje

Doc. dr. med. sc. Alma Biščević završila je 2008. godine Medicinski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu. Nakon pripravničkog staža, specijalističku izobrazbu iz područja oftalmologije nastavlja u Specijalnoj bolnici za oftalmologiju „Svjetlost“ u Zagrebu pod mentorstvom prof. Nikice Gabrića i prof. Ive Dekaris. Specijalistički ispit položila je 2014. godine. Od 2015. zaposlena je u očnoj Klinici Svjetlost Sarajevo.

Specijalistički studij iz oftalmologije na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu završava 2013. godine. Na istom fakultetu 2016. godine završava i naučni poslijediplomski studij iz područja “Biomedicina i zdravstvo”.

Doktorsku disertaciju odbranila je u martu 2019. godine u Zagrebu na temu : Prospektivna usporedba dvije laserske platforme u tretiranju visokog astigmatizma laser in situ keratomijelizom (LASIK).



Područje rada
 

Dr. Biščević se bavi prednjim segmentom oka, refraktivnom hirurgijom te bolestima rožnice. Usavršavanje iz područja refraktivne kirurgije obavljala je u Zagrebu pod mentorstvom prof. Nikice Gabrića, dr. Maje Bohač i dr. Marije Antičić te u inostranim centrima izvrsnosti (Schwind, Njemačka). Usavršavanje iz područja bolesti rožnice, s naglaskom na transplantacije rožnice, obavila pod mentorstvom prof. Ive Dekaris.


Dr. Biščević usko je specijalizirana iz područja refraktivne hirurgije. Do sada je operisala u pet država regiona (Bosna i Hercegovina, Hrvatska, Makedonija, Srbija i Crna Gora) na 5 različitih lasera. Dr. Biščević do sada je obavila preko 15.000 različitih zahvata laserskog uklanjanja dioptrije. 



Publikacije i istraživanja

Do sada je objavila 4 originalna naučna rada indeksirana u CC, te preko 30 kongresnih sažetaka na inostranim i domaćim ekspertnim oftalmološkim skupovima.
