Education

He completed the School of Medicine in Sarajevo. He specialized in ophthalmology at the Eye Clinic of the University Hospital in Sarajevo. He completed a postgraduate doctoral study in Biomedicine and Health Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Health, University of Travnik, clinical specialization.
Doctoral dissertation defended on the thesis, in 2020 :
Topographical Changes with Keratoconus after Crosslinking."
He is an assistant professor in the Ophthalmology course, at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Health, University of Travnik. Since 2012 he has been working at  Svjetlost Eye Clinic in Sarajevo. 

Field of work

His work is related to general ophthalmology, anterior segment of the eye, keratoconus, crosslinking surgery and determination of all types of contact lenses, including the Rose K contact lenses.

Introduction of new methods

He is among the few physicians performing crosslinking surgeries with keratoconus. He was trained to perform crosslinking surgeries at Svjetlost Eye Clinic in Zagreb, mentored by Doctor Maja Bohač. He performed surgeries in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Croatia.

Publications and research

He attended numerous international, professional ophthalmic congresses. He is the author and co-author of several scientific papers in the field of ophthalmology.
