Zagreb, 21 March 2019 - Alma Biščević, MD ophthalmologist at the Svjetlost Eye Clinic, has obtained PhD degree after successfully defending doctoral thesis on “Prospective comparison of two excimer laser platforms in treatment of high astigmatism with laser in situ keratomileusis” at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
Alma Biščević, MD works on the front segment of the eye, refractive surgery and cornea diseases. Specifically specialized in refractive surgery proven under more than 5 thousand laser surgeries performed across 5 countries of Southeast Europe up to this point in a career.
